In the left part of the obverse, there is the coat of arms of Abkhazia, the coin face value of 3 apsars is minted on the right against the stylized background of butterflies. Below, there is an inscription in the Abkhazian language, “The Bank of Abkhazia” and the year of minting “2021”. To the left from the inscription, there is the mark of the Moscow Mint – “ММД”.

On the reverse – couple of caterpillar and butterfly.

Set of 7 coins from non-precious metals "Butterflies of Abkhazia".

The coins were made with the application of the relief color printing technology. To make the images more realistic, the method of computer relief forming was combined with the application of plaster models; that helped to create additional volume during minting.
