Description of obverse and reverse
The obverse in the center depicts a composition symbolizing the unity of man and the universe, as a connection between the past and the present. On the right side of the coins are inscriptions indicating denominations.
On the reverse in the center is an image of the orbital space station "Salyut-1". The name of the coins in the state, Russian and English, as well as the inscription "1971-2021", indicating the anniversary date of the event, is around the circle. On the left is an image of the Earth's surface with a view from space. At the bottom is the inscription "BAIKONUR" in English.
A brief annotation
Collectible coins "SALIÝT-1" made of silver with tantalum with a face value of 500 tenge, of nickel silver alloy with a face value of 200 tenge and of nickel silver alloy with a face value of 100 tenge continue the series of coins "Space". The coins are dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the launch from the Baikonur cosmodrome of the world's first manned orbital space station "Salyut-1".
